Akshay Kumar lately has been making headlines owing to rumours of his exit from Firoz Nadiadwala's film ‘Hera Pheri 3.’ As per reports, the actor is even out from upcoming films ‘Awara Paagal Deewana 2’ and ‘Welcome 3’. At a recent event, the actor finally confirmed that he won’t be a part of ‘Hera Pheri 3, which is a sequel to his blockbuster movie. Akshay mentioned he opted out of the film because he was not happy with the script of the movie and reportedly, this statement of Kumar has not gone down well with Firoz as he is disappointed and hurt.
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, speaking at the 20th Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2022 in Delhi, the Rowdy Rathore actor addressed the reports of his absence from ‘Hera Pheri 3' and confirmed he backed out from the project due to its script. A source close to the development revealed to the portal that Firoz is angry with the actor over his this statement and has now decided to go ahead with the film without Akshay. The source was quoted saying, “After Akshay Kumar publicly claimed that he’s exiting Hera Pheri 3 because of problems in the script, Firoz was disappointed and hurt. He has now decided to go ahead with Awara Paagal Deewana 2 and Welcome 3 without Akshay. The priority, however, would be on Hera Pheri 3 right now.”
Reportedly, Khiladi Kumar has demanded a whopping Rs 90 crores for ‘Hera Pheri 3’ which Firoz thinks is too much and that’s why he asked Akshay to lower his price but he refused. Kartik Aaryan has reportedly agreed to come on board for Rs. 30 crores.
